Geonumia [jee-oh-noo-mee-uh] is the study of geocoins, and other items used in geocaching. This includes coins, tokens, medallions, tags, wooden nickels, and other similar items. Geonumia is a subset of exonumia. Exonumists that study geocoins are known as geonumismatists.
